Town assistant head coach Marcus Bignot said he was “disappointed not to come away with three points” following their 1-1 draw against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. He also praised Rovers’ use of Joe Quigley and Ellis Harrison, while also expressing his frustration at Swindon’s defenders allowing Kane Thompson-Sommers to score with his left-foot just before the break.

The result leaves the Robins in fourth, only outside the final automatic promotion spot on goal difference. Meanwhile, the Gas are 20th, with a four-point gap to the relegation zone.
