Athletics Talent Pathway chance for Bristol & West AC trio

THREE members of Bristol & West AC have been invited to join the England Athletics Talent Pathway programme.
Steeplechaser Will Battershill, 400m sprinter Eleanor McIntosh and sprint hurdler Kezia Tarzey were selected from hundreds of eligible athletes to join the programme for 2025-27.
International Battershill, who was an instrumental member of the B&W senior men's team that completed the historic English Cross Country and 12-Stage Road Relay double last winter, was named in the top tier of athletes to get support.
Battershill made the cut for the Performance Programme, which has been set up to support athletes who could medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games or compete for Great Britain at a senior level.
"Being on the programme has already been a huge support to me with surgery I had in August and in the physio I have received since then," said Battershill.
