Thornton Cleveleys and Squires Gate earned three points in the NWCFL First Division North last weekend, though there was Edward Case Cup disappointment for AFC Blackpool.

TC ended a run of four consecutive defeats as two goals in each half saw them win 4-2 at Colne.
Having trailed to Barney Wiggin’s goal, TC were 2-1 up at the break thanks to Oliver Wilkinson and Archie Lang.
Kyle Higham and Ben Duffield then made it 4-1 before Miles Storey’s late consolation for the hosts.
