Organiser Angie Beasley said a barefaced round would allow contestants to show off their individuality.

Angie, who has been director of the contest since 2002, said: “By showcasing their natural beauty without the aid of makeup, the contestants can celebrate their individuality and self-confidence.
“This round also promotes natural and realistic beauty on social media which can only be a good thing”.
