Like mother, like daughter as Baines School celebrates its great results

Baines School in Poulton-le-Fylde is shining a spotlight on some of its brightest GCSE stars.

Students and staff at the High Cross Road school say they are celebrating a very successful set of exam results.

Headteacher Clare Doherty said: “We celebrate a fantastic year of results for the Baines Family and are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements.

“These results have been achieved thanks to a combination of hard work, high expectations, excellent teaching and pastoral care and, of course, the love and support from the students’ families. Baines School continues to get better, and better.

“We have seen significant improvements in behaviour, attendance and culture in general over the past 18 months, and now this has culminated in increased progress in maths, English and science as well as our other academic and creative subjects.
