Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde AC's Nia Rutter won gold in the British Masters Indoor Pentathlon
(BWFAC)
She won the gold medal after doing the 60m hurdles in 9.63s, a 1.50m high jump, an 11.18m shot putt and a 4.67m long jump before completing a very successful day by running a gruelling 800m in 2:46.15.
BWFAC U18 runner Archie Belfield was in action at the Lancaster Power of 5k.
He knocked a minute off his previous personal best by finishing 27th in 16:29, showing that hard training and dedication does pay off.
