A Blackpool councillor has stepped down from her role, citing family and health reasons.

Coun Julie Jones, who represented the Greenlands ward in Bispham for Labour since the 2023 local elections, confirmed her resignation in a statement on Thursday.
She said: "I understand that my resignation may seem sudden to some, but it is something I have been considering for a while.
