Art Deco gem ready to stage bands, am dram and stand-up

Blackpool's vintage Regent Cinema is ready to set the stage for local live entertainment.
The atmospheric Art Deco cinema reopened a decade ago as an independent cinema and also plays host to a collectors' emporium.
In recent years it has even lent its atmospheric setting to a number of ghost hunts.
Now owner Rick Taylor, who bought the property with wife Lindsay, says it is available to welcome drama groups, rock bands or stand-up comedy.
He said: "We have a stage which would be perfect for live entertainment and it would be a shame not to make the most of it.
