A brother and sister team from the Fairhaven and Royal Lytham & St Annes clubs enjoyed success after swapping their off-course roles for matters on it instead.
Fairhaven's clubhouse operations manager, Chris Oatley, and his sister Lauren, the assistant secretary at Royal Lytham & St Annes, were among the field at this year's Central England Mixed Foursomes.
The competition, played at Lincolnshire's Woodhall Spa Golf Club last weekend, saw them lift the title despite the challenges posed by Storm Amy.
