Students owed thousands as e-learning firm collapses
October 16, 2025
|Birmingham Post
A CITY e-learning company has fallen into administration, leaving thousands of students out of pocket.
-
Oxbridge Home Learning offered online courses such as GCSEs, A-levels and vocational qualifications but ceased trading in early September.
Administrators Forvis Mazars estimates 5,600 students have been left with unfulfilled courses. The company owes £2.56 million including to a list of named tutors, £739,000 to HMRC and £197,000 to Google.
However, students could be left thousands of pounds out of pocket as they are not classed as creditors.
Online review website Trustpilot is awash with negative posts.
