Another deal in KAN for non-stop club

KANYA Fujimoto has echoed the sentiments of those who have already joined Blues this summer - the intention of all within the club is promotion to the Premier League, which is what has lured him to St Andrew's.

The Japanese winger has joined Blues on a three-year deal after spending the last five years with Portuguese top-tier side Gil Vicente, where he played more than 150 league games and scored 12 goals, including a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over AVS last summer.

The 26-year-old left at the end of his contract, however, and when Blues made contact with him - and after listening to what boss Chris Davies and sporting director Craig Gardner had to say - he decided to add his name to the raft of signings the club have made this summer.
