2 charged with murder after blaze tragedy

A SECOND man has been charged with murder after a dad died following a Birmingham house fire.

Daniel Gardner, 37, (pictured) died following the blaze at a property in Saxons Way in Highters Heath last Friday (September 19) shortly after 1am.

He was then taken to hospital under emergency conditions but sadly died a short while after arriving at hospital.

Now Tyler Phythian, aged 18 has been charged with murder.
