SWOOP FILMED AS A WARNING TO TRADERS SELLING COUNTERFEIT GOODS
A DRAMATIC clip of a trading standards raid on a shop has been released as a warning to illegal traders.
Footage shows Dudley Council's trading standards team in a shop near Stourbridge Ring Road earlier this week.
The council said the unnamed store was being operated by a gang, who were offering “home delivery of counterfeit goods”.
Officers can also be seen on the footage breaking a car’s windows to access counterfeit cigarettes inside.
The council’s trading standards team has closed 21 shops between January and July, and three more were set to be closed this month.
