Thief jigged with his victim while raiding pockets

THIS is the moment a ‘dancing’ pick-pocket lures an unsuspecting victim towards him in Birmingham city centre and performs a ‘jig’ while stealing from him.
CCTV shows how Anis Bardich approaches a man and grabs his hand, then bizarrely hooks his leg between his victim's legs and bobs up and down to distract him.
As he does so he then steals wallets with bank cards and phones from the unsuspecting victim.
He then lets the victim go after picking their pockets and walks off in the opposite direction.
Officers from West Midlands Police’s Operation Taurus pickpocketing team carried out an extensive investigation and trawled CCTV to find Bardich.
Bardich was known to have targeted four people in the centre of Birmingham during July and August of 2024.
