PCC offers advice to victims to keep records as evidence

October 11, 2025

Birmingham Mail

POLICE and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Simon Foster and West Midlands Victims Advocate, Natalie Queiroz, have issued important advice for victims after a Birmingham man was found guilty of stalking the ex-pop star.

Mr Foster and Ms Queiroz have since issued advice to victims, telling them to 'mute not block' their stalker's number or their social media page.

Keeping a record of messages is valuable evidence for police, the pair said.

"Stalking is a crime that causes immense harm to victims, their families and communities," said Ms Queiroz.
