Outstanding turnaround for school's latest Ofsted

A West Midlands school has undergone a remarkable turnaround after being handed a top grade by Ofsted inspectors.
St Alphege CoE School in Solihull was rated as 'outstanding' in three out of four areas following its latest inspection.
It was recognition of the hard work of leaders who have been overseeing the turnaround of the school’s fortunes over the last few years.
And it was double success with both junior school and the infant and nursery school getting top ratings from Ofsted.
The junior school was previously rated as ‘requires improvement,’ the second lowest grade, after its last inspection in January 2023.
But nearly three years on the situation couldn’t be more different.
