Murder cops hunt teen after victim is knifed to death

A POLICE manhunt is under way to find a teenage suspect wanted over the murder of aman in Handsworth Wood.

Yassin Alama, 19, was stabbed in Hutton Road at around 5.20pm on Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives investigating Mr Alama’s murder yesterday named 17-year-old Oumar Traore as wanted on suspicion of being involved in his death.

Police have made a number of attempts to arrest Traore in the hours after Sunday's tragedy - but now need the public help to track him down.

Jenny Birch, from West Midlands Police's Homicide team, said: “This was a violent attack in the street which has sadly resulted in the death of Yassin.
