Midland schools get cash to save them from crumbling

DOZENS of Midland schools are to be given cash by the Government to improve buildings.
-
A total of 86 schools have been named on a list of successful sites which will get cash to renovate crumbling buildings.
Funding will help replace heating systems, mend roofs and update electrical works after the Government said school estates had been neglected for years.
Ministers said it was part of a 10-year plan to renew buildings and make them “fit for purpose”.
