VICTIM WAS STABBED TO DEATH, WITH KILLER TOSSING KNIFE IN THE SINK
A MAN who murdered his neighbour who he stabbed to death at an HMO in Birmingham has been jailed for life.
Mohammed Ibrhim plunged a knife into the stomach of 60-year-old Morteza Ajdani in the property in Warwick Road, Acocks Green, on February 1 amid ‘bad blood’ between the two of them.
The 45-year-old then callously wiped blood from the weapon, threw it back in the sink and walked away before telling others the victim had inflicted the fatal wound to himself.
He ultimately pleaded guilty to murder on the day he was due to go on trial.
On Wednesday, August 6, Ibrhim was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 16 years and eight months at Birmingham Crown Court.
