Home advantage key to drawing Hornets’ sting

BIRMINGHAM City and Watford have almost identical records in the Championship.

Only one point will separate the two teams when they meet at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Monday evening and both have aspirations of competing for promotion.

But the form book suggests home advantage is a big one.

Blues and Watford sit towards the top of the form table when it comes to results in front of their own supporters this season, whereas both are near the foot of the away league table. With eight points from their nine away games, compared to Watford’s six from eight, Blues are marginally more productive on the road than the Hornets.
