First marathon runners named for Brum championships

UK Athletics has confirmed the first five runners selected to represent the Novuna Great Britain and Northern Ireland team in the marathon at the 2026 European Championships in Birmingham.
-
The marathon will take place on Sunday August 16, with Europe's best endurance runners racing through the heart of Birmingham
The first two women named are Abbie Donnelly (Lincoln Wellington AC) and Natasha Wilson (Micky Morris Racing Team), with Mahamed Mahamed (Southampton AC), Jonny Mellor (Liverpool Harriers AC) and Phil Sesemann (Leeds City) the first men's trio.
