WOLVES boss Vitor Pereira says the secret to their success is the “energy” the players share with the supporters.
A comprehensive 3-0 victory over relegated Leicester at Molineux on Saturday made it a record-equalling sixth successive top-flight win.
October 1970 was the last time Wolves had won six in a row in the top division and their upward trajectory hit new heights under the leadership of Pereira as they climbed to 13th in the Premier League table.
“We feel happy. I feel the supporters very happy. I feel my players very happy and confident and proud of themselves,” said the Portuguese. “The supporters are proud of the team. The city is in a good mood. This is a city that lives for football and my happiness is to see this.
