AN uninsured learner driver high on cannabis hit speeds of up to 110mph on a 'dodgy tyre' during a police chase in the early hours.

The 22-year-old, from Birmingham, raced through several red lights as he raced from the A46, near Stratford-upon-Avon.

Warwickshire Police said a stringer was used by officers from West Midlands Police to bring the pursuit to an end.
