Dorridge overcome early scare to stay in title hunt

EXCELLENT bowling from Coventry & North Warwickshire's Sameer Vohra had title-chasing Dorridge in all sorts of trouble at Binley Road with the visitors reeling on 68 for eight.
He claimed 4-34 from 13 overs before the unlikely partnership of Ashish Chakrapani (66) and Imaad Mahmood (55) put on 117 for the ninth wicket to take Joe Dodd's side to a more respectable 208 all out. The hosts also struggled early on with Adnaan Riaz claiming 5-42 and strike partner Chris Rushworth also claiming two of the top order.
