City centre yobs crackdown

POLICE have been granted extra powers to crack down on yobs terrorising a city centre this weekend.
-
A dispersal order has been issued in Lichfield city centre as police work to tackle antisocial behaviour.
It comes after reports of groups of young people intimidating local people and businesses.
Officers were also made aware of the illegal use of electric bikes and scooters in the area, Staffordshire Police said.
