Boss 'upbeat' after positive performance against Saints

JAMES Morrison insists there was a lot to be encouraged by in their performance against Southampton despite succumbing to a late equaliser.

Results elsewhere, combined with that late Cyle Larin goal to make it 1-1, dropped the Baggies down to 23rd in the table with only already relegated Sheffield Wednesday below them but they are still only a point adrift of safety and entertain Hull tomorrow.
Morrison said: “I've got mixed emotions after that one. I’m really proud of the players’ performance. I asked for them to leave everything on the pitch and they did. We were up against a quality side.
