All in a day's work for the Miss England competitors

MISS England beauty queens posed in their workwear ahead of the grand final in the Midlands this week in a bid to 'celebrate women achievers' and inspire females into male-dominated professions.

Contestants have been showcasing their jobs, uni studies and career aspirations to prove women can be 'academic, ambitious and feminine' and not just 'fit into a beauty pageant box.

The finalists swapped glitzy ball gowns, sequins and tiaras to don surgical scrubs, Army camouflage, lab coats, RAF uniforms and suits to show off their diverse occupations.

The two day final of the prestigious beauty contest takes place today at the Grand Station in Wolverhampton.

Among the 30 finalists are Evanjelin Elchmanar, 24, model from Birmingham and Sharandeep Sahota, 21, a law graduate from Coventry
