The State Enterprise Policy Office (Sepo) has set a target for state enterprise investment budget disbursement of no less than 95% this year to support the economy.

- WICHIT CHANTANUSORNSIRI

According to Tibordee Wattanakul, director-general of Sepo, state enterprises have a combined investment plan totalling 2.4 trillion baht in 2026, and Sepo will seek to ensure that investment budget disbursement reaches at least 95%. Last year the disbursement rate tallied 95.7%.

He said investment budget disbursement by state enterprises plays an important role in driving the economy, requiring the office to monitor investments to ensure they proceed in line with targets.

Regarding remittances to the Treasury Department, Sepo was assigned a revenue remittance target of 182 billion baht in 2026, up from 170 billion the previous year.
