Thailand's Paralympic icons Prawat Wahoram and Chaiwat Rattana are primed for the upcoming Asean Para Games, set to unfold in Nakhon Ratchasima from Jan 20-26, 2026.

Prawat, the veteran wheelchair racer, remains the heartbeat of the Thai para athletics contingent.

Competing in the T54 class, he has built a legacy that few in Asia can match — 16 Paralympic gold medals across successive Games, a record that speaks not only to his speed but to his discipline, resilience, and sheer longevity.
