Phase 2 of B297bn rail project set for NESDC nod

The Transport Ministry has confirmed that the plan for Phase 2 of the dual-track railway project spanning more than 1,200 kilometres is ready for approval.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Suriya Jungrungreangkit announced yesterday that all documentation and details for the Phase 2 dual-track railway construction project — covering six routes totalling 1,249km — have been submitted to the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC). The project is valued at 297.9 billion baht.
