NACC staff push for resignation

Officials and staff of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) yesterday issued a second public statement calling on an NACC commissioner to take ethical responsibility amid allegations of wrongdoing.

The statement followed an earlier declaration in which NACC officials urged a commissioner facing allegations to demonstrate accountability by resigning, a move that comes after Ruangkrai Leekitwattana formally petitioned the commission to investigate claims that a commissioner had accepted gold worth more than 10 million baht.
