Central to this success is Malaysia's digital halal ecosystem, which provides a framework of financing tools, advisory services and business intelligence to help local SMEs thrive globally. It is being enhanced to support neighbour-ing countries such as Thailand.

Malaysia and Thailand are pursuing cross-border infrastructure projects to boost trade connectivity. Initiatives include the development of smart logistics, digital customs systems and real-time tracking to ease congestion at checkpoints and reduce overdepend-ence on road transport.

While Thailand's political landscape remains fluid, investment through public-private partnerships is expected to strengthen border logistics and cold-chain networks. Ongoing bilateral dialogue is essential to harmonise regulatory frameworks and eliminate key bottlenecks, improving efficiency across the halal supply chain.
