Lawyers slam EC over poll complaints

The poll body accused the six of obstructing election officials, committing offences against state security, forming a secret society, disclosing confidential information and violating the Computer Crime Act.

The alleged offences occurred during a rerun of the Feb 8 constitutional referendum vote at Polling Unit 9 in Bangkok Constituency 15 in Kannayao district on Feb 22. Several civil society groups have also condemned the EC’s response.
