Hun Sen shows respect for the Shinawatra clan

Former Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen has revealed that two rooms in his personal residence have been permanently designated in honour of Thaksin and his sister Yingluck Shinawatra — both former Thai premiers — in honour of their past visits to Cambodia.

In a Facebook post yesterday, Hun Sen disclosed that the rooms — officially named the “Thaksin Room” and the “Yingluck Room” — have been pre-served for years.

During Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s official visit to Cambodia in April, she and her husband dined at Hun Sen’s residence and later visited both rooms, he said.
