Expressway projects in pipeline

The Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat) plans 11 new expressway projects covering 170 kilometres, with a total investment exceeding 273 billion baht to expand nationwide connectivity.
Exat Governor Surachet Laophulsuk said Exat currently operates eight expressway routes covering 224.6km. In August, traffic volumes averaged 1.71 million vehicles daily, generating toll revenues of 65.61 million baht per day.
He said the planned expansion is essential to address rising traffic demand, improve freight logistics, and strengthen connectivity nationwide.
