Eden Estate plans B2.4bn Bang Na sports club

Eden Estate Corporation, a property developer owned by a granddaughter of Thailand’s richest tycoon Dhanin Chearavanont, plans to invest 2.4 billion baht to develop a private sports club in the Bang Na area, targeting to break even within seven years.
Chief executive Tanyatip Chearavanont said there are no comparable clubs in the area, particularly those offering comprehensive facilities for all family members to use and spend time together.
"The Bang Na area has at least 12 international schools nearby, yet there is no shared space that caters to parents and children seeking a place to exercise, dine, relax or access wellness services," she said, estimating around 5,000 families at these schools.
Eden Country Club will be developed on a 24-rai plot on Bang Na-Trat Soi 66 near Concordian International School owned by Varnnee Chearavanont Ross, the eldest daughter of Mr Dhanin.
