Court throws out airstrip petition

The Constitutional Court has unanimously dismissed a petition seeking to investigate Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul over allegations he misused public infrastructure for private business purposes, as it was filed directly with the court instead of being submitted to the Ombudsman first.

The petition, filed by Pheu Thai Party supporter Niyom Nopparat, asked the court to consider the matter under Section 213 of the constitution.
