|Bangkok Post
Chiang Mai Design Week returns for the 11th year with a lot of creative activities, taking visitors to revisit the cultural and natural assets of the North across Chiang Mai, from the Old Town to Chang Moi-Ratchawong Road, Tha Pae Road and Chang Klan Road, from Saturday to Dec 14.
-
Held under the theme "Local Plus: Creativity, Technology, Sustainability" from the Creative Economy Agency, the annual festival aims to achieve three core goals - celebrating returning creative talents; sustaining local ways of life; and building networks for collaboration.
This year's edition brings designers, artists, entrepreneurs and communities across northern Thailand to showcase design works and ideas that integrate innovation into everyday life while connecting international creative energy.
It convenes partners from 12 countries - China, Japan, Taiwan, Laos, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, France, the UK, Canada and Russia.
