Whitletts join in promotion success
Whitletts weren't the only Ayrshire side partying at the weekend as MUIRKIRK, who beat Larkhall 2-0 with goals from Regan Cusick and Ryan Milne, also sealed their promotion.
AUCHINLECK No 2 Allan McLuckie praised his players for a terrific turnaround after they ended the Premier season in second place.
Goals from Connor Boyd, Ross Clark and Kyle McAvoy (penalty) sealed a 3-0 win over Pollok.
McLuckie revealed: "It was a slow start to the season and we were under pressure as a group but the boys have been exceptional since the turn of the year.
"To finish second and reach two cup finals, winning one of them, has been exceptional."
