Bridge repair work extended

Ayrshire motorists are being warned to expect further disruption as repair works to a bridge on the A77 are extended.
Trunk road operator Amey have announced that works to refurbish Ballantrae Bridge have been extended again.
Further "operational issues" have affected the works and have delayed their completion until Friday, May 23.
