Club’s ambitious re-development plans beginning to take shape
David Smith says Ayr’s latest Somerset boost is “another big step forward for the club, the town and our community.”
United have been given the green light to progress with ambitious redevelopment plans behind the stadium's Railway End.
A training base, gym and overflow car park will be Phase 1 of Smith’s overhaul on land he purchased for the club earlier this year.
The chairman and owner has a vision to put all of Ayr’s key facilities on the same site.
And the first major hurdle has been cleared after South Ayrshire Council awarded planning permission.
