Swimmers warned about dangerous algae in pond water

THE Environment Agency has issued a health warning at one of Surrey's most popular bathing spots.
-
While the county has no coast, its many lakes are popular with sunbathers and swimmers alike.
However, a “do not swim” notice has now been but in place at Frensham Great Pond, between Farnham and Hindhead, warning of the suspected presence of blue-green algae.
