Towering achievement as refurbishment work brings energy to flats

Residents already feeling benefits of ambitious project

Residents of 20 blocks of flats in Coatbridge are already feeling the benefits following the completion of an ambitious energy efficiency refurbishment project.

The extensive work undertaken included the installation of cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, heat recovery units, solar PV systems and new roofing, delivering substantial improvements in energy efficiency.

In addition to the energy efficiency works, the refurbishment project also enhanced the homes by safeguarding their distinctive architectural character.

The work took place on properties at Bank Street, Langloan Street, Langloan Place, Kirkwood Street and Langloan Crescent.
