Debut single release is pure Bliss for band

A band who formed at a Coatbridge rehearsal studio are spreading their own brand of joy with the release of their debut single.

Four-piece outfit Bliss were all music students who attended Main Street Studios for lessons with their respective instruments.

Ben Smith, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Cody Whelan, lead guitar, and Connor McGuigan, bass guitar, are all 16 years old and pupils at St Andrew's High. The fourth member of the group is drummer and Taylor High pupil Lewis Ferguson, 15, from Carfin.

Ben started taking guitar lessons at the Coatbridge studios when he was eight years old.
