School Managements Oppose Oversight Exemption for SOEs

Gujarat Education Department's move to exempt 1% of self-financed schools (SFS), selected as Schools of Excellence (SOE) from the purview of the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) has left school managements in the state agitated.

The Gujarat School Management Association, in a meeting held on Friday, discussed the matter and decided to make a representation to the Chief Minister against the education department's move to bring elitism in school education.
