Protocol breach complaint cuts across party lines

Most complaints about names missing from invites/plaques and officials' absence during visits, says Home minister Harsh Sanghavi

Elected representatives from different parties have complained of their names going missing from official invitation cards/plaques as well as of officials remaining absent during government functions. However, the action in most such cases has been limited to a warning being issued to the concerned authorities. This was revealed by Minister of State for Protocol, Harsh Sanghavi, in response to a question by Congress MLA Shailesh Parmar.
