HC quashes pleas challenging police recruitment exams

Paves the way for recruitment of armed and reserve PSIs

The Gujarat High Court on Thursday dismissed all petitions challenging the recruitment process for armed police sub-inspectors and reserve police sub-inspectors which started in early 2022. The order by Justice Nirzar Desai has cleared the way for the long-delayed recruitment

The recruitment process through special competitive exams had been stalled repeatedly due to a series of court cases that challenged the examination, answer keys and qualifying standards.
