City builder loses Rs 1 cr in forex trading scam

He was lured into investing after he watched a YouTube video
A 34-year-old builder from the city was duped of over Rs 1.08 crore by online scammers posing as currency trading brokers. According to a complaint filed with the Cyber Cell on Wednesday, Jaimin Patel, a resident of Shayona Green Setuvertika in Gota and partner in a construction business, stumbled upon a YouTube video on scalping trading.
He searched Google for more information and landed on a site that introduced him to "Go Market" as a broker. The website redirected him to an Instagram account, where he began chatting with people posing as currency trading advisors.
