CBI denied UIDAI data to trace girl

HC tells agency to intensify search efforts; next hearing in four weeks

A bench of the Gujarat HC on Monday declined a plea by the CBI seeking access to biometric data from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to help identify a girl missing for several years.
However, the court refused permission and directed the CBI to continue its efforts to trace the girl. The matter has been adjourned for four weeks.
