2 city girls win Asia Pacific Robotics Championship

Two city girls emerged as winners in the Asia Pacific Robotics Championship-2025 held in the Philippines this week.

Aarna Shah and Kyra Bansal secured first place at the championship organised by the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), becoming the first all-girls team from India to represent the country in the competition.

Aarna and Kyra, Class 7 students of Adani International School and Anand Niketan International School, respectively, stated that India secured first place internationally in the Robomission Elementary category after a decade. The last time the county won was in 2015. Both students were trained at The Robotronics Club in Ahmedabad.
